Ten Rules of Hebrew Alphabet 


RULE 1.

NO CAPITAL LETTERS
There are no Capital letters in the Hebrew Language.

RULE 2.

Hebrew has two types of Scripts.

The Printed forms sometimes known as Square scripts (Defus)

While Hebrew script call (K'tav) or cursive Writing for quick editing. Cursive

Hebrew Newspaper, Scriptures and sign board does not have Nikkud. Thus you have to learn how read without Nikkud in advance studies.

RULE 3.

It is all about Nikkud". The Hebrew term "Nikkud means punctuation or vocalization of the Hebrew words. Standard Nikkud is beneath the letter.

It serves as like a training wheel help to keep your balance.

Noted in Tanach Hebrew text  such like Torah Scroll does not have Nikkud

Some Printed book Hebrew Tanach and also Brit Chadash  has Nikkud and cantilation marks, the purpose came up with systematic vocalization punctualion allow how to pronounce the word in the Bible.

No Nikkud needed for when we speak to one another.

The Nikkud invention dubbed by Eliezer Ben Yehudah 1100 years ago same system.

. literally mean do Nikkuda mostly underneath letter.

RULE 4.

Hebrew scripture does not have cursive writing,

A little "Dot ." inside a letter is called "Dagesh" it use to Emphasize a letter. It is a special Nikkud.

פ=F   פּ=F
Rule of Dagesh  דָּגֵשׁ - Dagesh  makes different pronunciation for the exact same letter.

RULE 5.

Direction
Hebrew are Written and read from Right to Left.

RULE 6

ORDER IS IMPORTANT
There are Five letters in the Hebrew Language that have "Regular" form and "Final form to them.

1st מ=ם 

RULE 7 

Hebrew are also Number of letters
The Hebrew Language has a total of 22 Hebrew letters

The letter in Red form a word Emet - truth

RULE 9

Root canal or root word.
When reading Hebrew identify the Root word (3 letters) Past tense or future, Prefix and suffix.

Every Hebrew verbs has three 3 root letters that are called "Shoresh" that make up the meaning of the word.

RULE 10.

Importance of learning Hebrew.

Hebrew are a Mathematical Language. Each letters is equivalent to a number.
use for gematria. use as scientific, language number language

Before reading Torah:

Barukh atah Adonay Eloheinu, Melekh ha’Olam asher barcha banu mikkol ha’amim venatan lanu et Torato. Barukh atah Adonay notein ha’Torah.
English Translation:

Blessed are You, Adonay Eloheinu, king of the universe, who chose us from all the peoples and gave to us His Torah. Blessed are You, Adonay, giver of the Torah.

After reading Torah:

Barukh atah Adonay Eloheinu, Melekh ha’Olam asher natan lanu Torat Emet vechaiyei Olam nata’ betokeinu. Barukh atah Adonay notein ha Torah.
English Translation:

Blessed are You, Adonay Eloheinu, King of the universe, who gave us the Torah of Truth and set everlasting life in our midst. Blessed are You, Adonay, giver of the Torah.

Before reading Haftarah:

Barukh atah Adonay Eloheinu Melekh ha’Olam asher bachar binvi’im tovim ve-ratzah ve-divreihem hane’emarim be’emet. Barukh atah Adonay ha-bocher ba-Torah uv’Mosheh avdo uv-Yisra’el amo, uvinvi’ey ha-emet va-tzedek
English Translation:

Blessed are You, Adonay Eloheinu, King of the Universe, who has chosen good prophets and was pleased with their words that were uttered with truth. Blessed are You, Adonay, who chooses the Torah and Mosheh, Elohim’s servant, and Yisrael, Elohim’s people, and the prophets of truth and righteousness.

After reading Haftarah:

English Transliteration:
Barukh atah Adonay Eloheinu Melekh ha’Olam, kol tzur ha-olamim, tzaddik b’khol ha-dorot, ha-El hane’eman ha’omeir v’oseh, hamdabeir u’makiyem, shekol devarav emet ve-tzedek. Ne’eman atah Adonay Eloheinu, ve-ne’emanim devarekha, ve-davar echad midevareykha achor lo yashuv reikam, ki EL Melekh ne’eman ve-rachaman attah. Barukh atah Adonai, ha-EL hane’eman be-khol devarav
English Translation:

Blessed are You, Adonay Eloheinu, King of the Universe, rock of all eternities, righteous in all generations, the faithful EL, who says and does, who speaks and fulfills, all of whose words are true. Faithful are you, Adonay Eloheinu, and faithful are your words. Not one of your words turns back unfulfilled, for You, O EL, are a faithful and compassionate King. Blessed are You, Adonay, ha EL who is faithful in all His words.

Before reading Brit Hadashah:
Barukh atah Adonay Eloheinu Melekh ha-Olam, Asher natan lanu Moshiach Yeshua ve-hadiberot shel Brit ha-Hadashah. Barukh atah Adonay, notein Brit ha-Hadashah.
English Translation:

Blessed are You, Adonay Eloheinu, King of the universe, Who gave to us the Messiah Yeshua and the commandments of the Renewed Covenant. Blessed are You, Adonay, Giver of the Renewed Covenant.

After reading Brit Hadashah:

Barukh atah Adonay Eloheinu Melekh ha-Olam, Asher natan lanu ha-Devar ha’Emet ve-chayei olam nata betokheinu. Barukh atah Adonay, notein Brit ha-Hadashah.
English Translation:

Blessed are You, Adonay Eloheinu, King of the universe, Who gave to us the Word of Truth and planted Everlasting life in our midst. Blessed are You, Adonay, Giver of the Renewed Covenant.

דִּי   - Di    - Aramaic hat which

סָבִיב   -   Saviv   -   Surrounding

אָדוֹן   -   Adon   - lord, master

עֵץ   -   Etz   - tree, wood

שָׂדֶה   -   Sadeh   -   field

כְּלִי   -   Keli   -  Vessel, implement

מִלְחָמָה   -   MilChamah   - War

נָבִיא    -   Navi   -  Prophet (Singular)

עֶשְׂרִם   -   Esrim   -   Twenty 20

מִשְׁפָּחָה   -   Mishpachah   -   Family
